William Bray

William Bray, PMP has a diverse work experience in project management and business development within the renewable energy industry. William is currently serving as the Director of Project Management at Apex Clean Energy, where they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Solar Project Manager at the same company from March 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining Apex Clean Energy, William was employed at I.B. Abel, Inc. as a Project Manager in the Renewables division from August 2020 to March 2022. William also served as the Director of Business Development at DWS Energy from November 2019 to August 2020.

William has a substantial background in project management at SunPower Corporation. During their tenure at SunPower, they held various roles including Project Manager for National Accounts from August 2019 to November 2019, Associate Project Manager for National Accounts from January 2018 to August 2019, Construction Manager II from August 2013 to January 2018, and Construction Manager from June 2011 to August 2013.

William Bray, PMP, attended the University of Colorado Boulder, but no degree or field of study was specified. In addition to their university education, they have obtained multiple certifications including a Certificate in Business Strategy from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2023 and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2021. William has also received various other certifications in areas such as unmanned aircraft, electrical PPE, shade analysis, solar design, first aid, lead renovation, and OSHA safety.
