Melissa Kell is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as Corporate Counsel at Apex IT since March 2022, Melissa previously held the position of Director of Legal Affairs at Signal Energy Constructors from August 2018 to March 2022, where responsibilities included negotiating and drafting various legal agreements. Prior to that, Melissa was the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Walden Security from April 2012 to April 2018, advising on strategic initiatives and managing relationships with clients and vendors. Starting in July 2002, Melissa served as Director of Legal Affairs at U.S. Xpress, where involvement included representing the company through its transition from public to private status. Melissa holds a Juris Doctorate from the Nashville School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
