Andre Hinojosa has extensive experience in finance and accounting within the aerospace and technology sectors. Currently serving in a finance and accounting role at Apex, a spacecraft manufacturing company, since December 2024, Hinojosa previously worked as the Finance Operations Manager at ABL Space Systems, where responsibilities included financial management during an early-stage company phase. Prior to that, Hinojosa held senior accounting roles at Full Stack Finance, focusing on startup clients, and Doctor Evidence, LLC, where contributions included financial reporting and M&A transaction support. Additional earlier experience includes a research and development internship at Autotelic Inc. and a lab management position at Genescient Corporation. Hinojosa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UC Irvine.

Spacecraft represent the most pressing need across the entire aerospace industry. As more launch vehicles come online and the cost to orbit decreases, more companies launching payloads to space continue to emerge. For the first time in history, this influx of payload companies combined with reduced launch costs has resulted in a massive increase in need for commercial spacecraft platforms, known as satellite buses. These buses hold the payloads of our customers and are flown on launch vehicles. Apex manufactures these satellite buses as scale using a combination of software, vertical integration, and hardware that is designed for manufacturing. Their spacecraft enable the future of society: ranging from earth observation to communications and more.
