Louis Lambertis senior vice president, general counsel and secretary for APi Group.

Most recently, Louis was Vice President—Legal and Assistant Secretary at Polaris Inc. At Polaris, Louis counseled Polaris leadership and its Board of Directors on issues related to SEC compliance, corporate governance, M&A and corporate finance matters, and executive compensation. He was also the legal counsel for two of Polaris’ four global business units. Before joining Polaris, Louis spent over eight years at General Mills, where he was chief counsel for global M&A and held various segment general counsel roles. Prior to General Mills, Louis was in-house M&A counsel at 3M Company. Louis began his career practicing in the corporate group at Faegre Drinker.

Louis earned his law degree from Rutgers School of Law in Newark and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He is an active community volunteer, serving on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (Minnesota Chapter) and Wilderness Inquiry, where he chairs its Governance Committee. He is also a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and a Fellow of the Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity. Louis lives in Edina with his wife, Carrie, and 11-year-old twins, Louis Jr. and Sofia.
