Alon Makovsky

Alon Makovsky is a skilled DevOps professional with extensive experience in leading teams and managing infrastructure. Currently serving as the DevOps Lead at Apono since November 2023, Alon previously held the position of DevOps Team Lead and DevOps Engineer at Totango, where responsibilities included provisioning AWS environments and developing automation tools using Python and Bash. Prior experience at BlackBerry involved serving as a Technical Leader Infrastructure Developer and managing key projects such as migrating an on-premises solution to a microservices architecture with Kubernetes. Alon also contributed to deploying BlackBerry Workspace using SaltStack and integrating Liquibase for SQL script management. Earlier career experience includes leading software engineering efforts for the Israeli Intelligence Corps, managing large-scale information systems and server infrastructure.
