Damith Rozairo has a diverse work experience starting from 2011. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Research Assistant at North Dakota State University, where they gained expertise in designing experiments, testing, analyzing data, and documentation. Damith then became a Visiting Research Scholar at the same university from 2016 to 2017, focusing on investigating the size distribution and number population of pancreatic cancer cells.

In 2017, Damith joined Appareo Systems as a Test Engineer, where they had various responsibilities including being a test lead for multiple projects, assisting in developing system requirements, reviewing project scope, budgets, and schedules, and developing test processes and procedures. Damith also worked as an RF test engineer, writing test procedures and conducting tests in compliance with industry Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards. Additionally, Damith worked on the emergency mechanical resuscitator project during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2020, Damith worked as a Technical Writer at Clostra, Inc. before returning to Appareo Systems in 2021 as a Senior Test Engineer.

Damith Rozairo holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from Minnesota State University Moorhead, which they earned between the years 2005 and 2009. Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science from North Dakota State University, between the years 2011 and 2016.
