Jonathan Roy is a seasoned security architect with extensive experience in the field of information technology and communications. Currently serving as the Principal Security Architect at AppGate Federal since February 2020, Jonathan leads technical engagements and focuses on solution architecture and implementation for AppGate's Zero Trust Software Defined Perimeter platform tailored to Department of Defense and Federal Civilian customers. Prior roles include Director of Security Architecture at Unisys, where strategic IT planning and security solutions were designed for Federal and commercial needs, and various technical positions in satellite communications and network engineering with organizations such as ITT Systems and the U.S. Army. Jonathan holds an MBA and two master’s degrees in Information Technology and Information Assurance from the University of Maryland, alongside a bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management.
