Ashwin Chapte

Ashwin Chapte is a seasoned software engineer currently employed at Apple since January 2021, previously serving as a design verification engineer at Intel Corporation from July 2017 to January 2021. Ashwin has extensive experience in design verification and deep learning, with roles at Intel that included Design Verification Engineer II and Deep Learning Engineer for the Nervana Neural Network Processor. An earlier internship at Intel involved developing pre-silicon functional validation tests, while an internship at the Indian Space Research Organisation focused on piezoelectric actuators for aerospace communication. Ashwin also contributed to academia as a mentor for VLSI system design at USC Viterbi School of Engineering and as a senator for the Graduate Student Association. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Engineering from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology.
