Krishnendu Chaudhury

Krishnendu Chaudhury is a seasoned expert in machine learning and computer vision, currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at Apple since September 2023. Chaudhury's extensive experience includes authoring books on deep learning and working as the CTO and cofounder of Drishti, focusing on the application of these technologies in manufacturing. Previous roles include serving on the Technical Advisory Committee at Benhamou Global Ventures from January 2018 to September 2023, and holding significant positions at Flipkart as Principal Scientist and Head of Image Sciences, and at Google as an Uber Technology Leader, where Chaudhury led various image processing projects. Chaudhury began a career at Adobe Systems before earning a PhD in computer science from the University of Kentucky.
