Po Sun

Po Sun is a seasoned professional in optical science and engineering with extensive experience in camera image quality and optical testing. Currently a Camera Image Quality Engineer at Apple since August 2021, Po focuses on camera hardware validation. Prior to this role, Po worked at NVIDIA as an ISP Image Quality Engineer, tuning image signal processors and conducting image testing and evaluation. Po's background includes significant contributions as a Design Engineer at Jabil Circuit Inc., where complex optical module testing solutions were developed, and as Technical Manager at Sunny Opotech North America Inc., leading camera module projects from concept to mass production. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Optical Science and Engineering and a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, along with research and teaching experience in photonic crystals and digital logic design.
