Xiaojing (George) Zhang is a Senior Research Scientist at Apple since August 2019, with previous experience as Associate Director at the Hyundai Center of Excellence at UC Berkeley and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley from July 2017 to August 2019. Prior to these roles, Zhang served as a Research Assistant at ETH Zurich from October 2012 to December 2016, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Optimal Decision Making under Uncertainty from the same institution. Zhang also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Control Theory from ETH Zurich and the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from ETH Zurich. Education began with a Swiss Matura from High School Wiedikon in Zurich, Switzerland.
