Emma Gamble has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Emma started their career as a Business Analyst at BUPA in 1999, followed by roles as a Web Developer at Freeserve and 2ndByte. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Royal Bank of Scotland International as a Finance Project Manager and MI Design Analyst, where they were involved in software development, project management, and SQL scripting.
In 2015, Emma worked as a Coding Instructor and Freelance Developer, providing bespoke Excel/VBA tools and teaching coding skills to various clients, including RBC. Emma then joined RBC in 2016 as a Senior Associate, Business Intelligence, focusing on creating business intelligence solutions. Later in 2019, Emma joined Appleby and held positions as a Business Intelligence and Financial Reporting Analyst before becoming the Head of Data and Analytics in June 2021.
Emma Gamble earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Maths and computer science from the University of Surrey, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including "Introduction to R for Data Science" and "Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI" from edX, "Querying with T-SQL" from EDX, "CAT 1-3" from ACCA, and "Prince 2 Practitioner" from OGC.
