Mark Dougherty

Mark Dougherty is a seasoned energy professional with extensive experience in energy analysis and consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Energy Analyst at Applied Energy Group, Inc., Mark develops initiatives like the “Non-Wire-Alternative” program to enhance load control participation and peak demand savings for local utilities. Prior to this role, Mark founded Stellar Energy Consulting, providing expert guidance on energy generation and sustainable technologies. Mark's prior experience includes serving as Lead Analyst for PSEG Long Island, where responsibilities encompassed managing analytics for a utility with over 1 million customers, and Director of Distributed Generation & Renewable Programs at Long Island Power Authority, overseeing significant investments in energy efficiency and renewable technologies. Mark holds an MBA from Dowling College and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Long Island University, Southampton Campus.
