Abhay Vardhan

Abhay Vardhan is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in machine learning and software development across prominent companies. Currently employed at Applied Intuition since November 2024, Abhay has previously held positions as a Senior Staff Engineer at Stack AV and a Staff Software Engineer at Aurora, where responsibilities included leading machine learning infrastructure for motion planning. Abhay has also contributed to vital projects at Uber ATG and Uber, focusing on highway driving solutions and cash payment features for emerging markets, respectively. As a co-founder and CTO of blippy, Abhay developed mobile communication applications and played a key role in establishing technology at BloomReach. Early career experience includes significant contributions to Google’s Search Quality team, managing large-scale systems, and earning a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
