Ahmed Malik

Ahmed Malik has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as an Engineering at Applied Intuition. Prior to this, they held the role of Sr. Software Integration Engineer and Software Integration Engineer at Rivian from 2021-2022. Ahmed was a Firmware Engineer and Product Development Engineering Intern at Intel Corporation from 2019-2021. From 2016-2018, they were the Lead Electrical Engineer and Electrical Subsystem Member at Berkeley Formula Racing (FSAE), where they led and co-led a team of 3 engineers to design and manufacture the racecars' wiring harnesses, sensor suite, and data acquisition pipeline. In 2018, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Finelite. Finally, from 2013-2016, they were a Student Researcher at the University of California, San Diego, where they designed, built, and programmed a kinetic sculpture (marble rollercoaster) with the goals to experimentally explain the laws of motion and conservation of energy and momentum, extract energy loss data, and allow human interaction with the sculpture.

Ahmed Malik earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley between the years 2015 and 2020.
