Davide Bacchet

Davide Bacchet has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and simulation. Davide is currently working at Applied Intuition, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they had roles at Cruise as a Distinguished Engineer, Head of Simulation, and Distinguished Engineer in Robotics, spanning from 2021 to 2023. Before that, they worked at Voyage as the VP of Engineering and Director Of Engineering, Autonomy from 2018 to 2021. Davide also had experience at NIO as a Director and Principal Engineer in the field of Autonomous Driving, Simulation, from 2016 to 2018. Davide held the position of Software Engineering Manager at Apple in 2016 and worked at Tesla as a Simulation Manager and Lead Engineer in Autopilot from 2014 to 2016. Davide'searlier experiences include roles as a Senior Software Engineer at VI-grade from 2006 to 2014 and as a Software Engineer at MSC Software from 2004 to 2006. Davide started their career as a Researcher at the University of Padova in 2003.

Davide Bacchet completed their education history as follows: From 1991 to 1996, they attended Liceo Scientifico XXV Aprile in Portogruaro, where they obtained their Scientific high School Degree. Following this, from 1997 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Software Engineering and Controls at Università degli Studi di Padova. Lastly, from 2010 to 2014, they completed a Master's degree in Computational Physics at Università degli Studi di Udine.
