Isabella Liao

Isabella (Yu Chun) Liao is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as General Manager at Applied Materials since September 2015. In this role, Isabella manages the core product business in Display, Solar, and Advanced Packaging, overseeing a revenue stream exceeding one billion dollars with global teams in Taiwan, the US, and Germany. Previously, as Chief of Staff for Business Development, Isabella led initiatives to transform Applied Materials into a device integrated solution provider, successfully securing an $11 million product order through strategic customer engagements. Additionally, during a prior tenure at Applied Materials from 2001 to 2015, Isabella achieved significant market share growth and new market penetration. Educational credentials include an M.B.A. from National Sun Yat-Sen University and a Bachelor of Economics from National Chengchi University.
