Subbu Tamilmani

Subbu Tamilmani is a highly experienced professional in the semiconductor and materials science industries, currently serving as Director of ALD Product and Technology Development at Applied Materials since March 2017. Prior experience includes roles as III-V on Silicon Technology Lead at Aixtron and Director of Engineering at Solexel, where responsibilities encompassed tactical and strategic decision-making, technology development, equipment management, and ramping up pilot fabs to high volume manufacturing. Subbu has also held positions at a solar startup, Intel/Numonyx, and Intel, focusing on program management, process technology, and advanced module technology development for NOR Flash technology. Subbu holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Arizona and a B.Tech in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering from the Central ElectroChemical Research Institute.
