Shigeki Makino

Shigeki Makino has extensive experience in finance and investment management, currently serving on the Member Advisory Board at Apptopia since May 2014. Previously, Shigeki Makino was a Board Member of Oxfam America from 2008 to June 2017 and served on the Oxfam America Leadership Council from 2004 to 2008. As a Visiting Senior Lecturer of Finance at Cornell University from September 2011 to October 2014, Shigeki Makino taught MBA students hedge fund management and equity investment analysis, while also mentoring women in finance. Shigeki Makino's career includes significant roles at Putnam Investments as Managing Director & Head of Global Large Cap Equities from August 2000 to January 2011 and at Fidelity Investments, where roles included Director of Research, Portfolio Manager, and Analyst from May 1990 to June 2000. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance & Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
