Katy Tagart

Katy Tagart is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in people operations. Currently serving as Sr. Manager, People Operations at AppZen since November 2017, Katy was the first HR hire and played a vital role in scaling the team from 20 to 120 employees by implementing an ATS, streamlining the interview process, and developing a robust onboarding process. Prior to AppZen, Katy worked as a Recruiting Coordinator and Office Manager at AltspaceVR, a VR startup acquired by Microsoft. Katy began their career as a Division I dual sport athlete at the University of the Pacific, where a full athletic scholarship was earned while competing in both indoor and beach volleyball. Katy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a focus on HR and Management from the University of the Pacific's Eberhardt School of Business.
