Simin Chai

Simin Chai (柴思敏) is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering, management, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Technical Manager for Asia Pacific Sales at aPriori Technologies since July 2011, Simin has spearheaded the company's entry into key markets such as China, Japan, and India within the Aerospace, Automotive, and Industrial Machinery sectors. Prior experience includes co-founding zPlas Technologies, which develops solutions for converting waste plastics into carbon nanotubes and natural gas, and holding roles like Manufacturing Process Research Analyst at aPriori, where Simin built digital models for cost analysis. Additional positions include Supplier Engineer at Mack Molding Company and a co-founder of the SJTU Alumni Association of Greater Boston, demonstrating leadership and community engagement. Simin holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
