Prior to that, Simon held the position of Manager at AWM and General Manager of Victorian Sales & Manufacturing at NHP Electrical Engineering Products Pty Ltd, after starting their career as an Electrician at the Melbourne Metropolitan Transit Authority. Simon possesses a diverse educational background, including leadership and management programs from INSEAD and Melbourne Business School, along with an Associate Diploma of Business from NMIT.
