Dylan Maxwell is a Design Release Engineer at Aptera Motors, leading brake systems for the Chassis Team since December 2021. Prior to this, Dylan worked as a Project Engineer at RBC Turbine Components LLC, focusing on developing FAA-approved repairs and researching maintenance processes for jet turbine engines from January 2020 to October 2021. Dylan began at RBC Turbine Components in a Mechanical Engineering Technician program in 2020 and gained experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at EPC Power Corp from January 2019 to January 2020. During studies at San Diego State University, Dylan was involved in hands-on projects such as the design and manufacture of a Baja race vehicle and a hydraulic jack system, alongside a senior design project on a gyroplane safety fuel shut-off system. Dylan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University, completed in 2019.
