António Luís Silva Guimarães

António Luís Silva Guimarães is a seasoned engineer currently serving as a Senior Global Process Design, Automation & Controls Engineer at Aptiv since February 2024. Previously, António Luís held the position of Global Manufacturing Technology Team Leader at Aptiv from December 2017 to June 2023, where António Luís led global SMT engineering initiatives and developed standardized SMT process guidelines. António's experience also includes roles as a Manufacturing Engineer and SMT Engineering professional at Delphi, coupled with a foundational position as a High Skill Operator. Earlier in their career, António worked as a Machine Operator at Grundig Car InterMedia System GmbH. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Information Technology Management from Universidade do Minho and an Engineer’s degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration, along with a Technician degree in IT and Facilities Management.
