Karl Flynn

Karl Flynn is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Global Network LAN Manager at Aptiv since April 2018, where also holds the position of Deputy Lead for the IT Leadership Development Program. Prior to this, Karl held roles such as Senior Network & Security Consultant at Logicalis and Network & Security Engineer at Bootstrap Ltd, demonstrating proficiency as a CCNP R&S and Security Engineer for a Cisco Gold partner. Earlier in the career, Karl worked as a Senior Network Operations Center Engineer at Pocket Kings Ltd (Full Tilt Poker) from September 2007 to November 2011. Karl is furthering education with an MBA thesis focused on the cybersecurity skills shortage and the potential for artificial intelligence at the National College of Ireland, and has also completed a Professional Diploma in Artificial Intelligence for Business at University College Dublin.
