Alexander Spiegelman

Alexander Spiegelman is a blockchain researcher with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Co-Founding Team member at Aptos since January 2022, where contributions focus on research and technology for building a Layer 1 blockchain. Prior to this role, Alexander was a Senior Blockchain Researcher at Novi Financial (Meta) from July 2020 to January 2022, specializing in consensus and parallel execution. Experience also includes a position as a Researcher at VMware from June 2018 to July 2020, and previous research roles at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology during doctoral studies in Distributed Systems, which were completed in 2018, and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering obtained from the same institution in 2014.
