Max Behren

Max Behren, CFA, currently serves as Vice President of Arbitrage and Event-Driven Strategies at AQR Capital Management, a position held since October 2017. Previously, Max has held roles including Associate and Analyst in the same division at AQR. Max's early career includes experiences as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business and internships at Jefferies and Cowen and Company in Fixed Income and Equity Derivatives, respectively. Max began professional development in finance during an internship at Westchester Capital Management and also gained leadership experience as Assistant Program Director at Camp Manitou for Boys. Max holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with Distinction, emphasizing Finance and a Minor in Computer Science, from the University of Michigan.
