Dasun Wickramasinghe

Dasun Wickramasinghe has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Back End Developer at Metropolitan Computers Pvt Ltd until March 2016. Dasun then joined Dialog Axiata PLC as an Engineering Executive from April 2016 to December 2018. In 2019, they joined Axiata Digital Labs as a DevOps Engineer until December 2020, after which they transitioned to the role of Associate Tech Lead from January 2021 to May 2022. During this time, they gained experience in building and setting up deployment tools and infrastructure, automating development and release processes using Jenkins and Terraform, and ensuring system security. In June 2022, Dasun joined CAKE Engineering as an Associate Lead, focusing on cloud engineering. Most recently, Dasun started working as a DevOps Engineer at Aquanow in April 2023.

Dasun Wickramasinghe completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology at the University of Colombo, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.

Dasun then pursued further education at Fanshawe College, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology Infrastructure from 2022 to 2023.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dasun has obtained various certifications in areas such as cloud computing, project management, networking, and leadership. Some of these certifications include the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, and Learning AWS CloudFormation. Dasun has also completed courses in Kubernetes, Terraform, and Microsoft Project, among others.
