Deepak Kumar

Deepak KUMAR is a highly skilled CFD Engineer with extensive experience in the field of Internal Combustion Engines and advanced simulation techniques. Currently working at aramco since July 2019, Deepak specializes in engine aerodynamics and combustion as a Consultant in Research & Development. Prior to this role, experience at EMC involved optimizing piston bowl designs for heavy-duty diesel engines and conducting detailed CFD simulations. Deepak's expertise also encompasses modeling turbulent jet ignition systems and hydrogen fuel applications gained during tenure at IFP Energies Nouvelles. Deepak holds a Ph.D. from Centrale Nantes focused on 3D simulations of air flow in automotive intake systems and has a Master's degree in Automobile Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal. With significant proficiency in tools like CONVERGE CFD and CAESES, Deepak has contributed to various projects targeting pollutant emissions reduction and engine performance optimization.
