Scott Smith

Scott Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy and business development. Currently serving as the Strategy & Business Development Director at Aramco from August 2024, Scott previously held multiple leadership roles at Trelleborg Group, including President of Marine & Infrastructure Technology, where Scott managed a business unit with over €80 million in turnover and 250+ employees, based in Singapore and London. Scott’s expertise also encompasses strategic business development as the Regional Director for Asia Pacific, and sales management as a Senior Sales & Project Manager. Earlier career roles include Marketing Manager at Fentek Australia and Manufacturing Engineer at Queensland Rubber Company Pty Ltd. Scott holds an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management, along with a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The University of Queensland.
