Richard Rys

Richard Rys is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in consulting and engineering within the control systems and automation sectors. Since August 2015, Richard has served as a Senior Consultant at ARC Advisory Group, focusing on research related to electric grids, smart cities, and instrumentation. Richard founded R2 Controls in 1996, supporting international projects while continuing to contribute to ARC. Prior to these roles, Richard gained valuable expertise as a Control System Engineer at Foxboro, where responsibilities included applications engineering in various industries, and as a Consulting Engineer at Invensys, specializing in the design and implementation of control systems. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
