Mr. Clarke has over 25 years of experience in senior leadership positions for major energy and resource developments in power, oil & gas, and metals.

Mr. Clarke’s most recent role was as Vice President – Commercial and Strategy for Maritime Iron where he led the strategic planning, site selection, partner, and government negotiations for a $1.5 billion iron smelter in the United States and Canada.

Mr. Clarke has also been engaged in recent years as an expert advisor by McKinsey, KPMG, and Long International on project strategy and execution.

Previously, Mr. Clarke has held strategic leadership and commercial roles with Nalcor Energy (Lower Churchill Project), Fort Hills and Terra Nova (Petro-Canada), Hebron (Chevron), and White Rose (Husky), and Hibernia (Exxon).
