Chris Higgins, Human Resources Manager, is responsible for strategic staffing, compensation, benefits, training and development, and labor relations across the company. She brings over 20 years of human resources and operations experience to Arcata. Prior to joining Arcata, she spent six years with NV Energy and eleven years with MGM Resorts International. Chris has a BS in Hotel Administration and an MBA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Human Resources Certification Institute. Chris is a graduate of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce – Leadership Las Vegas Program and has been a Board Member for Habitat for Humanity and Goodwill of Southern Nevada.
