Daniel Gutierrez is an experienced engineer specializing in systems testing, design, and process engineering. Currently serving as a Sr. Systems Test Engineer at Archer since June 2024, Daniel collaborates with engine, propeller, and aerodynamics teams to execute FAA For-Credit and Safety of Flight testing on propulsion systems while designing data acquisition systems using Labview, Veristand, and Dewesoft. Previously, as Chief Engineer at Space Foundry Inc., Daniel focused on developing 3D printers for in-space manufacturing and was responsible for designing tools, sensors, and user interface features. Daniel's early career includes roles at X, the moonshot factory, as an Operations Technician and Test Engineer, where advanced robotics and machine learning were implemented, and at NASA Ames Research Center as Assistant Lab Manager and Project Lead for projects on graphene-based supercapacitors.
