Hyojong Shin

Hyojong Shin is a highly experienced animation engineer with a robust background in game development. Currently serving as the Lead Animation Engineer at Archetype Entertainment since June 2025, Hyojong previously held the position of Senior Animation Programmer at Eidos-Montréal from March 2021 to May 2025. Prior to that role, Hyojong worked as an Expert Animation Programmer at both Reflections, a Ubisoft studio, and Ubisoft from May 2017 to March 2021. Hyojong's expertise also includes significant contributions at Epic Games as a Developer Relations Manager and Engine Programmer, focusing on Unreal Engine 4. Additional experiences include leading animation and physics programming at Blueside Inc. and pioneering game physics R&D at BANDAI NAMCO Games Inc. Hyojong's career began at CCR Inc. as Chief Programmer and continued at Hyunmu Entertainment as a Programmer. Hyojong holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Tokyo and a Bachelor of Science from Korea University.
