Benny Cheung, CESGA®, has over a decade of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on sales and distribution roles. Benny currently serves as the Head of Distribution at Architas, a position they assumed in 2022. Prior to that, Benny worked at DWS Group as the Vice President Sales, Client Coverage Division, where they promoted investment solutions to institutional clients and private banks in North Asia, covered insurers in Hong Kong, and served Hong Kong and Macau clients. Benny has worked at Allianz Global Investors as an Institutional Sales Manager in Hong Kong and Macau and at Invesco Ltd. as a Client Relations Manager in Greater China and Southeast Asia. Benny began their career at J.P. Morgan Asset Management as an Analyst and later served as a Client Associate at HSBC and an Institutional Account Manager at SEI.
Benny Cheung, CESGA®, has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Economics with a minor in Global Studies from UCLA. Benny also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Investment Management from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Additionally, Benny has completed summer courses in Globalization Studies at East China Normal University. In terms of certifications, they are a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA®) and obtained this certification from EFFAS - The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies in April 2022. Benny also holds the HKSI Paper 1, 4, & 9 certifications from the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, although the exact dates when they obtained them are not provided.
