Katarzyna Deren

Katarzyna Deren, CPA, CGA, serves as the Assistant Controller at Architech since March 2022, previously holding the position of Senior Accountant at Pfizer Canada. Deren brings extensive experience from Trillium Therapeutics Inc., where responsibilities included liaising with auditors, preparing financial statements, and managing equity transactions. Earlier roles encompass senior and intermediate accounting positions at Public Storage - Canada, focusing on financial reporting, payroll processing, and sales tax compliance. Deren initiated the accounting career at Ursus Transport Inc. and gained foundational skills through co-op experiences with the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee and BDO Canada Ltd. Deren holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Laurentian University and a 3-Year Advanced Diploma in Accounting from Humber College.
