Kayla Smith

Kayla Smith, CPA, has extensive experience in tax accounting, currently serving as a Senior Tax Accountant at Archrock since July 2016. Prior to this role, Kayla worked at BKD CPAs & Advisors from September 2010 to July 2016, progressing through roles from Tax Staff to Tax Manager, where responsibilities included preparing federal and state tax returns and researching tax laws. Earlier experience includes a position as a Student Worker II at Texas A&M University, focusing on a publication about corn and grain sorghum research in Texas. Kayla holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, both from Texas A&M University.
