Karl Thomson

Karl Thomson currently serves as the Director of Distribution Management & Strategy for APAC at Arcserve, where responsibilities include managing distributors to drive growth in both new and renewal business. Previously, Karl held the role of APAC Pre Sales Director, leading the sales engineering team, and played a crucial role in delivering technical support throughout the sales cycle. Karl's prior experience includes significant positions at StorageCraft Technology, where extensive expertise in pre-sales and technical advisory roles was developed, and involvement in venture capital and private equity with Thomson Family Investments. Educationally, Karl holds a Diploma in Business Computing from Auckland University of Technology and a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator certification from AMES I.T. Academy, alongside a strong foundational education from Kings College and Kings School.
