Stephen Saunders has had a diverse range of roles throughout their work experience. Stephen started their career in 2001 at KONE Corporation, where they held various roles in sales, key account management, and change management until 2009. From 2009 to 2015, they served as the Sales Director at KONE Corporation. Stephen then became the Group Sales Director (including subsidiary organizations) from 2015 to 2016 before assuming the role of Service Director from 2016 to 2018. In 2013, they became the Managing Director of 21st Century Lifts Limited, a subsidiary of KONE Corporation, until 2015. In 2018, they joined TK Elevator as the Chief Executive Officer of the British Isles until 2022. Currently, Stephen holds the position of Chief Operating Officer of the British Isles at Arcus FM, starting from March 2023.
Stephen Saunders attended St Georges College Weybridge from 1985 to 1995, where they studied Geography, History, and Fine Art. Stephen then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the University of Plymouth from 1995 to 2001.
