Michael Petti has extensive experience in the field of research and development, engineering, and product development. Starting in 1987, they worked as a Research Scientist at Rohm and Haas until 1995. Following this, they joined Allied Signal as a Product Development Manager from 1995 to 1999. Petti then worked for Rexam Beverage Can for several roles, including Manager of Metal and Materials Development from 1999 to 2003, Director of R&D and Six Sigma from 2003 to 2007, and Director of Engineering from 2007 to 2012. Their next position was as the Director of Development Engineering at Rexam from 2012 until they joined Ardagh Group in 2018, where they currently serve as the Vice President of R&D Metal for North America.
Michael Petti earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1982. Michael went on to obtain a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Caltech in 1987.
