Mike Raab

Mike Raab is an experienced biotechnology executive currently serving as President & CEO of Ardelyx, Inc. since March 2009. In addition, Mike holds the positions of Chairman & CEO at Amicus Therapeutics and Chairman of the Board at Tempest Therapeutics. Mike has been a governing board member of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization since January 2006. Previous experience includes a partnership at New Enterprise Associates from 2002 to 2009, a Senior Vice President position at Genzyme from 1991 to 2002, and a Business Development Analyst role at Repligen Corporation. Mike began a career in sales as a representative for Bristol-Myers (Mead Johnson Nutritionals) from 1987 to 1989. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from DePauw University, obtained between 1983 and 1987.
