Geoffroy Palut

Geoffroy Palut has extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Geoffroy began their career as a Financial & Business Analyst - Private Equity Intern - Front Office at IDIA Capital Investissement in 2017, where they worked on investment projects, building financial models and business plans. In 2018, Geoffroy took on the role of Private Equity Intern at Ardian, where they performed valuations and developed tools for currency hedging decision making. Geoffroy also worked as a Data Scientist at Novo Nordisk, where they processed and analyzed large datasets and engineered features using Electronic Medical Records.

Geoffroy furthered their expertise as a Machine Learning Research Intern at Columbia University in the City of New York in 2020, focusing on machine learning techniques. Geoffroy then joined Sia Partners as a Data Science Consultant, providing consulting services in data science. Currently, Geoffroy holds the position of Senior Data Scientist at Ardian, where they use their skills to build and deploy models to analyze and predict customer behavior.

Geoffroy Palut received their education in a chronological order as follows:

1. From 2013 to 2015, they attended Lycée Lakanal where they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as part of their Preparation School program.

2. Starting from 2015 until 2019, Geoffroy attended Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, where they pursued a combined B.S. and M.S. in Engineering, majoring in Economy and Finance.

3. Finally, in the year 2018 through 2019, they studied at Columbia University's IEOR Department, where they obtained a Master's degree in Management Science and Engineering, specializing in Industrial Engineering and Operation Research.
