David Sargsyan has extensive experience in finance, public administration, and academia. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Ardshinbank CJSC since June 2014, Sargsyan has also held academic positions as a Lecturer in Principles of Corporate Finance at the American University of Armenia and in Macroeconomics at the ICARE Foundation. Previously, Sargsyan was the Minister of Finance for Armenia, where the issuance of inaugural Eurobonds and public procurement reforms were significant achievements. Other notable roles include being a Board Member at the Eurasian Development Bank, Governor at the International Monetary Fund, Chief of Staff for the Armenian government, and various leadership positions in the Central Bank of Armenia, including initiatives that modernized the financial supervision framework. Sargsyan holds a Ph.D. in Macroeconomics and has lectured in banking and economics at multiple institutions.
