Jessie Chang, PhD, is a senior medical director at AREA 23 on Hudson, an IPG Health Company, with extensive experience in medical and scientific research. With a strong background in neurodegenerative diseases, Jessie has held various positions within IPG Health since February 2017, including medical director and associate medical director. Prior to this role, Jessie served as a postdoctoral research scientist at Columbia University, focusing on the genetic variations related to sporadic Parkinson’s disease, and developed neurodegenerative zebrafish models. Jessie's early research at The University of Chicago included studies on organogenesis and stem cell differentiation, while earlier work at the University of California, Berkeley involved investigating bone metabolism regulation and developing disease mouse models. Jessie earned a Ph.D. in Development, Regeneration and Stem Cell Biology from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
