Linda Baumann

Linda Baumann is a seasoned legal expert with extensive experience in health care law, currently serving as a Partner at Arent Fox LLP since February 2006. Specializing in regulatory compliance, litigation, and transactional matters, Linda focuses on Medicare/Medicaid fraud and abuse requirements, including the Stark Law and the False Claims Act. Prior leadership roles include Chair of the American Bar Association Health Law Section, where Linda oversaw significant educational initiatives, and Chair of the ABA Breast Cancer Task Force, which aimed to improve legal support for breast cancer patients. Linda also contributed as Chair of the Part D Task Force for the American Health Lawyers Association, enhancing programming related to Medicare Part D. Earlier in the career, Linda served as Counsel and Partner at Reed Smith LLP, providing strategic advice on health law matters and corporate compliance. Linda holds a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA, magna cum laude, in Political Science and Russian Studies from Brown University.
