Paul Brown

Paul Brown is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and corporate strategy. Currently serving as Managing Director at Ares Management Corporation since July 2021, Paul has held key leadership roles including Chief Investment Officer and EVP of Capital & Strategy at Aspida from September 2016 to July 2021. Prior to that, Paul worked at J.P. Morgan and Merrill Lynch as Managing Director from November 2011 to July 2016 and April 2004 to October 2011, respectively. Earlier career experience includes a directorial position at Credit Suisse First Boston and an associate attorney role at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Virginia School of Law.
