Tony Ko

Tony Ko is an experienced investment professional currently working at Ares Management Corporation since December 2022, focusing on special situations and secured lending. Prior experience includes roles as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs, specializing in structured finance and strategic equity, and contracting positions at Brookfield Asset Management and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in investment-related fields. Tony has also worked at Credit Suisse in global markets and gained early experience as an intern at HQ Capital Private Equity and UBS in fund management and structured products, respectively. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from Seoul National University and a high school diploma from Worcester Academy.
