Sam Pickerill is an experienced professional who has worked in various roles in the field of biomedical engineering and research. Sam currently serves as the Owner and Principal of Arete Biosciences, LLC, a contract service organization specializing in technology and product development for medical devices and molecular diagnostics. Prior to their current role, Sam held positions such as VP of R&D at Ustar Biotechnologies (Hangzhou) Ltd., Study Investigator and Coordinator at Empilweni Services and Research Unit, University of the Witwatersrand, Fulbright Scholar at Fudan University, and Biomedical Design Engineer at Northwestern University's Center for Innovation in Global Health Technologies. Sam holds a MS in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.
