Jessica Wallace is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both corporate and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Community Solutions at Joybound People & Pets since May 2021, Jessica has held multiple titles within the organization, including Community Solutions Manager and Interim Director of Community Engagement. With a strong commitment to community welfare, Jessica has been a dedicated volunteer for various Bay Area nonprofits focused on hunger relief and animal welfare since 2004. Prior to this, Jessica spent 16 years at The Clorox Company, advancing from Scientist roles to Group Manager R&D, where leadership and team development were key responsibilities. Jessica also leveraged significant program management skills during a sabbatical to transition into nonprofit leadership following a successful career at Clorox and Kimberly-Clark, where Jessica honed skills in packaging engineering and project management. Jessica earned a BS in Packaging from Michigan State University in 2001.

ARF is a national leader in the animal welfare industry co-founded by Elaine and Tony La Russa in 1991. Headquartered in Walnut Creek, California, the nonprofit receives no government funding and is an accredited four-star charity for eleven consecutive years. ARF’s core mission is the rescue of dogs and cats who have run out of time at public shelters, giving them a chance at life until a new home can be found. ARF couples this focus with innovative programs strengthening the human-animal bond for children, seniors, veterans, and people in disadvantaged circumstances.
